Dear Parents:
I am recruiting all interested 4th and 5th grade students to participate in the Hammond Elementary chorus. Rehearsals will be held each Thursday beginning on Tuesday, September 9th. Fifth grade chorus will meet during their recess. Fourth grade chorus will meet during the last 30-minutes of the school day on Thursdays. We have selected these times in order to minimize interfering with the academic schedule of the students who elect to be part of chorus.
In an effort to prepare for our upcoming holiday and spring concerts, I am requesting that students who elect to become a member of chorus make a commitment to this group for the entire school year. Our success depends upon a) a commitment to attend rehearsals; b) a commitment to attend the performances; and c) parental involvement and encouragement which is critical.
If your student elects to become a member of the HES chorus, please complete and return the form below to me no later than Monday, September 8th.
