4^th & 5^th grade Chorus:  

Open to all 4^th and 5^th graders who wish to volunteer for the entire school year.  Students are taught proper vocal, breathing and rehearsal techniques, as well as, appropriate posture while learning to sing quality vocal literature and part-singing. Last year, we had 122 voluntary members!!

Recorder Ensemble:  

Students in the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grades are selected to participate in this exciting group, which is an extension of our general/vocal music classes.  Students will independently prepare music to play on our Spring concert.  Last year we had over 50 members!!

DRRUM Club:  DRRUM stands for Discipline, Responsibility, Respect and Unity through Music.  This group meets after school during the spring.  Students develop their drum ensemble skills using traditional African and Caribbean music for a performance at the Spring Concert.
