Expectations:
Students are expected to be in their seats, working on the drill, when the bell rings. Therefore, they are expected to be on time.
Students must present a pass or note to Ms. Bloedorn the day following an absence for her to consider it excused.
There will be no food, drinking, or gum anywhere in the classroom.
All students are expected to follow the Howard County Public School System Code of Conduct. Classroom disruptions will not be tolerated.
All school and county policies will be strictly enforced including policies regarding tardiness, cutting class, cheating, tobacco, hats, beepers, cell phones, hand-held electronics (i.e. walkman, discman, mp3 player, etc.), and the dress code.
Any unauthorized use of the Internet will result in detention and, if repeated, in suspension of Internet privileges.
Respect for both the teacher and other students is expected and required.
NOTE: Howard County Policy states that if a student is absent 5% of the class days, he or she may be denied credit for that class. This is 9 days for 50 minute periods and 4.5 days for 100 minute periods.
