This is my sixth year teaching, but my second year in Howard County at Elkridge Elementary School. I previously taught outside of Philadelphia in Southeast Delco School District. During that time, I taught 4th and 5th grade for a year and 3rd grade for three years. I recently relocated to the Towson Area and am very excited to be part of the Elkridge Community.
When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my friends and family. I love traveling to new places whenever I get the chance. I am a proud mom of two cats, Jax and Bella. They keep life exciting. I am looking forward to another year at EES.
Hi, my name is Ms. Compton. I'm so excited to be at EES this year! I am a University of Maryland graduate student getting my master's degree in elementary education. I previously taught Middle school history at a private school in Westminster, MD and substitute taught for Montgomery County Public Schools last year.
I am a nature lover who enjoys being outside and playing sports. I love to play tennis, take long bike rides, and hike in the woods. I have a crazy cat named buddy, who keeps me entertained. I like to spend lots of my free time with my friends and family. I'm also in the process of planning a wedding for next summer, which is a lot of fun!
