I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Elementary Education. I am dual certified in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I have had the pleasure of teaching in Howard County for two years now.  I am happy to be a part of the kindergarten team here at Elkridge Elementary School again this year. I feel really blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family of teachers, parents and amazing students.

At home, I have a wonderful, supportive husband and one beautiful, amazing daughter and another on the way. My new bundle of joy is due in late September. I enjoy spending quality time with my family. In my spare time I like to volunteer at Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department. I have been a firefighter, rescue technician, and swiftwater rescue technician for twelve years and a paramedic for eight years.

I am excited to be working with your children this year.

Wednesday:   Read the poem with an adult. Use "tracking". Go through the poem to choose two (2) words from the poem (they will be added to their sight words list). Write them each two (2) times in your best handwriting.  Write the 2 words chosen on index cards. Use them for games, playing school and basic review at home.
