News from Mrs. McKenney:  We are off to a great start!  I've enjoyed meeting and getting to know all of my new students this week.  With diagnostic testing coming to a close, I am anxious to get to the good stuff next week...LEARNING!!! I am also really looking forward to meeting the parents/guardians of my students at Back to School night on Thursday, September 11th.

The Office of International Student and Family Services is pleased to announce that a Call Center is now available for our Korean and Spanish speaking families.  Family members may call the appropriate number and leave a message in their native language.  A bi-lingual interpreter will respond within 24 hours.

General Reminders
-Our Quarter 2 Assessments will take place Wednesday, January 21 - Thursday, January 22 in Math Class!
- Skyflyer Day will take place on Friday, January 23rd after our school-wide spelling bee!
-Students taking extended absences from school will receive missed work upon their return to school.  No work can be provided ahead of time.  Be sure to check this website for homework assignments.  You can also call your study buddy to see what you missed!

REMINDER-Solutions to all ODD problems can be found in the Selected Answer Section (RED) located in the back of the book.  All students should CHECK ALL ODD HOMEWORK PROBLEMS for accuracy.  Come to class prepared with questions regarding difficult problems.  

-Each student is to come to class each day with his/her agenda book, homework, math spiral, and pencil.
Textbooks are to remain at home!

-In order to receive full credit for homework, you must copy each problem (book only), and show all work.
