Are you getting tired of doing the same old book report? Well, now you have a chance to research a famous author! |
Task and Product |

Your job is to include biographical information of the author, their education, career, characteristic of writing/illustrations, interesting facts, awards and list of works. You will present your final product using PowerPoint, completing an interview, presenting talk show with the author, creating brochure, or designing a newsletter. It is up to your group how you want to present the information! |

Use the following rubric to make sure you have inlcuded everything. Your grade will be based on presentation, group work, and that you have inlcuded all the elements that was required from the rubric. |

In your handout folder you will find a list of resources that will help you find information about your author. |

Please use the Big6 graphic organizer and the note taking packet to guide you in your research process. |
Conclusion |

Be creative! You may use several resources from the media center inlcuding the computers, digital cameras, digital video camera, and I-movie, DVDs and video tapes about the authors. Please feel free to use resources from home as long as you get approval from your teacher! |
