Howard County Media Resources and Links |
This site has great information of the mission statement, a brief description of our media program and the roles of the media specialists. Additionally, it provides information on the Howard County Library’s summer reading and lists all the books for grades K-12th. It also highlights the winners of the Black-Eyed Susan Books, Caldecott, Newberry, and Coretta Scott King book awards. One of the most helpful links is the online databases and curriculum section. In this site there are several Internet links that are great for student use which tie in with many curricula areas. |

The public library provides several resources including community activities, storytelling and various reading programs. If we do not have the book at our school library, most likely the public library will have it. Our school participates in the A+ partnership program, which allows the school and public library to work together to provide the best resources and reading programs for our students! |
