Classroom Expectation
Be Ready
• All students are expected to be prepared for class with binder, paper, pen and pencil.
• Be to class on time.
• All students are expected to maintain an organized notebook (provided and kept in class) comprised of five sections. Notebooks will be collected and evaluated periodically.
Be Responsible
• Homework will be assigned Monday - Thursday. Assignments will be checked daily. Students are responsible for making up missing assignments when out on excused absences.
• Written papers, long-term projects, and tests will be announced.
• Major assignments will be accepted late with a penalty of 10 points for each day after the due date.

Our homework routine has started. You can expect a similar Spelling/Vocabulary homework routine every two weeks. Homework will be checked daily. You may decide to complete homework early according to your schedule
Week 1 (2/3-2/15)
Tuesday- Trace-copy-copy
Wednesday - Alphabetical order
Thursday –wordsearch (no class for period 4)
Friday - none
Week 2
Monday –crossword puzzle
Tuesday-none - Election Day
Wednesday –Pick 5 words and write an expanded sentence for each
Thursday – Study for Test on spelling and definitions
*Note: www.wordcentral.com is a great cite for finding definitions. Your child is encouraged to “cot & paste” the definitions on to a word document.
