Check out our online databases for easy access to information on any topic. Today's page will remind us about what is available for research on religions of the world. Remember - all the database information can be saved as a document, emailed to yourself, etc. On some sites you can create saved lists. Go ahead and get started.
Let's go to www.wildelake.com. Click on the Academic tab and select Research Databases. At home passwords are available in your agenda books. Stop in the Media Center and add the Ebsco home use password to your agenda book.
The Ebsco link has 2 options: History Reference Center and Student Research Center. Student Research Center lets you click quickly to encyclopedia and other reference articles. Questions? Come to the Media Center and we'll help.
Try the Gale database link and select Gale Student Resources in Context. Your search here will give you everything from reference sources to websites.
NBC Learn will have links to video clips that might help your project. To find information on world religions, open the website. Look on the left and select Social Studies. Click on this and select Global Studies. You'll find a link called Religions of the World. Click here and see if any of these clips can help you with your project.
SIRS will give you a good return. Just like the Gale database, you will get everything from magazine articles to reference book entries. Websites and images are also linked to your search term.
World Book is a great basic way to start any research project. Click on the World Book link and select World Book Advanced. Type in your search term and go. World Book will also link you to images and websites.
