What is technology and what is Technology Education?
Technology is humans using objects (tools, machines, systems, and materials) to change the natural and human-made environment. Technology is the conscious, purposeful actions by people to extend human capabilities.
Guidelines & Expectations
In order for students to be Reliable, they need to be Ready, Responsible and Respectful! Students are expected to follow the classroom and school guidelines of behavior as outlined in the school handbook. Failure to follow classroom and school expectations will result in consequences according to PBIS (the schoolwide discipline program). To be Ready & Responsible, students will come to class on time with all necessary materials, which includes paper and pencil. To be Responsible, students will complete all assignments and all homework. In the case of an absence, a Responsible student will contact the teacher and obtain any missed work.
Homework
Homework is an important part of the learning process. It will not be assigned every class period. However, when assigned, homework is to be completed and submitted on the due date. LATE AND NO NAME WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED, HOWEVER, POINTS WILL BE REDUCED
