Course offerings:

1. General Music: Learning to read and play music using instruments such as the guitar and keyboards, among others. Open to grades 6, 7 and 8.

2. Chorus class: Learning to sing. Open to 6th graders only.

3. Concert Chorus: a performing group that meets every day throughout the school year,during Core+. This class is only open to students in grades 7 and 8.

This group is a performing group, with a Winter and a Spring concert, in addition to other concerts. We will also attend the Howard County Choral Festival,which will be a school-day field trip. We will be attending Hershey's "Music in the Parks," in the spring. This will be a field trip that will be held on a Saturday. The students will perform

in the morning, go to the park all day,

then meet in the evening for the announcement of the winners!

     Students may choose to be in both Concert Chorus and general music.
